Editor: Andy Blumberg

Andy is a lifelong snowboarder, editor, brand architect, and entrepreneur whose work has helped shape the voice, culture, and identity of snowboarding since the mid-’90s. He served as Editorial Director of TransWorld SNOWboarding and Managing Editor of BLUNT. A trained journalist with a snowboarder’s instinct, Andy’s storytelling has always honored the nuance, style, and substance of the scene; coining the collective noun “a binding of snowboarders” to reflect a shared connective of belonging among tribe.

He’s guided brands through identity, voice, and strategy—shaping narrative direction and content for Nike, adidas, Burton, Converse, and ESPN. Andy’s formerly the creator of Blaise Boot Camp, a curated on-snow experience blending cultural activation, community, and brand collaboration.

Andy also serves as Producer on a documentary in development by Director Rob “Whitey” McConnaughy, chronicling the birth of freestyle snowboarding in Breckenridge from 1990–1994. The film captures the Midwest invasion of four iconic riders and a pivotal shift in style, equipment, and spirit—a skate-driven, rider-led revolution that reshaped the sport.

He brings not only deep relationships with everything shred, but a vested interest in telling the story with insight, objectivity, and reverence—serving as both curatorial arbiter and creative-strategic partner to that snowboarding blog.

Editor: Jib Hunt

Jib Hunt was a pro snowboarder in the late ’90s turned brand architect, growth strategist, and creative operator who’s spent the past two decades blurring the lines between culture and commerce. From slashing pow to scaling pipelines, Jib brings a uniquely built-for-this blend of board-born instinct and boardroom execution.

He launched and led the revival of Kemper Snowboards, taking it from deadstock to once again a global brand with distribution across five continents. At East Two West—his current agency—Jib runs point on performance marketing, custom merch, and niche media for brands that want results without the fluff. He also grown that snowboarding blog into a 28K-subscriber content platform and full-stack ad channel.

Jib’s driven over $1.1B in marketing-influenced pipeline, built and led high-output teams in both startups and $200M companies, and helped shape brand narratives for clients across tech, sports, and outdoor. From Burton to MediaMath, Virgin Mobile USA to DC Shoes, his work pairs authentic storytelling with measurable lift.

Always grounded in grit, style, and execution—Jib doesn’t just market culture. He lives it.
